Add Your Venue to Facebook

Jeanne FeathersIf you haven’t set up a Facebook account, get on it now. Other than connecting with old high school and college buddies, Facebook is a great networking tool. Get to know your customers and colleagues on a personal level. See pictures of their kids, keep track of their birthdays and find out what they did over the weekend. You may ask how all of these things will help you grow your business. The answer is easy, building relationships is the foundation of good business. People will trust you and want to work with you if they feel comfortable with you and the decisions that you make.

While you are setting up your personal Facebook page, don’t forget your venue. Some of our members have great pages. Check out California University of Pennsylvania, University of Nebraska or University Guest House & Conference Center to name a few. Showcase your facility through Facebook and any other social networking option you find it will pay off in dividends.
