A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Published by David at 5:44 pm under Opinion

It’s true isn’t it? A picture can really say it all, instantly and completely. The way we are all posting and sharing photos these days on sites like FaceBook and Twitter, we are continually being exposed to more and better photography. Good quality photos can strike an emotional cord much more quickly than text or copy. At UV, we call these ‘hero’ shots because they are so much more impactful on the viewer than any ad or sales copy that you could write.

So, what about your venue’s photography? Is it up to par? Are you trying to sell your venue to meeting planners with 1980s quality photos and images?

Take a good, honest look at your own website’s photography and your photo gallery at uniquevenues.com. Are your photos good quality and high resolution? Do they really do your venue justice? Will meeting planners be compelled to look further because of these images? Don’t overlook the power of photography and the instant message that it can send to potential customers. Consider making an investment in some new and better photographs of your venue and then make sure you get them out in front of the right people, in the right places.
